I'm having an...identity crisis

Demon...orc. Eh, bit of randomness for #inktober. Horns keep showing up in my brain for some reason (yes, I read the book). Between the film coming out, Angelina Jolie's spectacular rack (the horns, you pervs) in Maleficent...minotaurs for some reason. (wait, what?)

Yeah, my brain does weird associations. But then who's doesn't, amirite?!

Quick sketch of The Question, one of my fave DC heroes (both animated and print). I remember reading the comics back in the 80's and really dug his style and how he wasn't some joe with billions of dollars fighting crime. Though he did get a visit from Bats early on (believe it was within the first 4 issues), who basically said he'd be keeping an eye on him. When you making it on Batman's radar, you know you did something big. Maybe not necessarily good, though.

Bizarro Finn?

After finishing Felix the Cat and his magic bag for today's #inktober2014 sketch, I decided to play with some negative space and added Finn from Adventure Time to the mix. So maybe it's because I'm a mix blooded bastard, but black and white tend to prey/play on my brain a lot. Shadows and light. Sometimes light can be too bright though, and the sun can burn you badly. Darkness is cool and soothing, full of possibility, deep and unending.

Some ideas I'm working on for the fairy princess story a friend wrote for me. It's gotta be a magic forest, but that doesn't mean everything is nice and friendly. Need to design some funky trees. Everyone loves funky trees. Maybe pink and purple grass? Too much? Oh well...
